Was looking for a new sushi place to try and after pages of pages of yelp I saw this one. I thought, all you can eat sushi, i got to try this. I wasnt expecting much. Some of the reviews were not good. But still all you can eat. They do have a normal menu with many regular japanese/asian dishes. Can not be as bad as any other buffet. Not realy a buffet. All the sushi/rolls you order are made fresh and included in the price. Though sashimi and sushi are .25¢ more per piece. Also can add appitizers for $2 more. The resturant is large. There is alot of seating availabe. When this place is full service I can assume will probably suffer. I came here after the lunch hour rush so there were only a couple of others in the resturant. The servers were friendly, though the lady who was going to seat me didnt understand what I was saying and had a server seat me. She was confused becuase when she asked table or booth I said you choose. I was seated in the front of the resturant at the window. The waitress took a few minutes to get my drink order. Since i am in no rush I do not have a problem with a liitle lag in service. I ordered hot tea, my staple with sushi. Wasnt bad, alittle weak for me. I like tea strong. After a couple minutes after getting my drink my waitress returned and asked what I would like to order. I said I would like to try the all you can eat sushi. She handed me a marker, the menu and sushi order menu( which is laminated) were given when you sit down. So after a few minutes and the waitress asking twice if I was ready I placed my first round. I ordered the samuri, spicy tuna, and a piece of octupus sushi. The waitress asked if I wanted hot sour soup. I asked if they had any other. She said they had miso and would take a few minutes to make. I prefer miso so miso it was. After placing my order the waitress returned with a small salad. It was your typical lettuce with a creamy cole slaw type of dressing. I really liked the taste. Wanted to ask for seconds but wanted to save room for sushi. After a few more minutes my miso soup came. It looked very brothy. Not normally how miso soup looks like. Turns out it was pretty good. Had plenty of miso flavor but very light. At this point I was happy with just the salad and miso. Whew, long review. My first round came shortly after I finished my miso. The samuri had tempura shrimp, thankfully with no tail, avacodo and spicy tuna and sauces in top. Was really tasty. Fish was fresher then I would have thought for a buffet. The spicy tuna was your typical minced tuna, but this one had a good hint if spicy, and alittle bit tempura chips. I liked that since I like crunchy. The octopus was not as chewey as most places. Overall this round was good. Though one thing to note is the rice is bit drier then I have had. Not saying it was old. They were going through alot. Next round of sushi was a peanut avocado roll, a vege roll with just whats in the name, a fancy roll, tuna and avocado topped with a white fish and sauces, and two pieces if sushi, a spicy tuna and shrimp. The peanut roll was good. To much avocado for me. I like more peanut crunch. The fancy roll I would have thought the white fish on top would be fishy, it was not. It was actually very tasty. The spicy tuna sushi had alot of tuna. Worth the extra quarter. The shrimp sushi was ok. Had that thawed out taste. The rice was still a bit on the dry side. The final part of the meal is when they bring your bill. They bring you a half of an orange that is peeled and quartered. That citrus flavor was a nice end to the meal. Overall I was much happier with the food and service then what I was expecting for an all you can eat. Thats why I am giving Sushi Club an extra star. Would like to come when there busy and see if they keep it. So if your reading this this review and since you can not get the time back you should give this place a try. Oh, a warning, they charge $1 per piece of uneaten sushi/roll so make sure you dont waste.

WOW! My best friend and I decided to go here when they first opened. Today was our first time and it was amazing. We got the all you care to eat sushi rolls for $16. It's a 5 course meal including miso, salad, edamame, all the sushi you can eat, and a cute little orange for dessert. You can even take up to 14 pieces home! The quality was very good. I usually spend $35 on myself when I eat sushi. We ordered 8 different rolls. Half was cooked and half uncooked. I prefer the fresh and my friend prefers the tempura but both were very fresh and clean tasting. The staff was very friendly. The beers are so cheap! Domestic bottles for $1.50. Imports are inexpensive and draft Sopporo and Ichiban. After dinner for fun we had some warm sake which was good quality at $7. Hands down the highest quality and value in the area. Worth the drive.

Really good food at an amazing price - my wife and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend the Speedy Roll and my wife's favorite was the 007. Don't pass on the crab rangoons or gyoza, either.

We went to celebrate a friend's anniversary and we had a great time. Some friends didn't like Sushi so they got the Hibachi selection. There was such a wide variety of Sushi and the salad and soul that come with the all you can eat are wonderful. The appetizers also great. My favorite was the crab ragoon. My favorite roll was the 007 roll. However every thing I got was wonderful. My friend got the chicken roll which is fried chicken and had a BBQ. Teriyaki sauce. He loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Sushi restaurant !! Their sushi is out of this world, my wife and I go there several times a week. It is always very fresh and tasty, the service is exceptional and the people are always very friendly. It is hard to go wrong when it comes to the food, all the sushi is very unique and fancy looking. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for delicious sushi in the Dayton area! screw it, in all of Ohio!!!

I'm confused by these low reviews. I will make MANY return trips back here... First of all, we had a fantastic server. Her name was Ping and she was extremely enthusiastic. Throughout the time we were there she was very animated and open to answering any questions we had. But, why were we intrigued to come here in the first place? ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SUSHI?!?!? It sounded way too good to be true. ...But it is fantastic!!! Tell me, where else can you pay 16.99 for unlimited sushi?! Drawbacks? Nope... just don't waste any sushi...if you can't eat a large portion of it then you are charged in $1 increments. That's not a problem at all... you can only order two rolls at a time and if you are really worried about not being able to finish the round, just order one! Seriously. This place is AMAZING. From the great soup, salad, service, and sushi. :) And I like the extra touch to the house salad. The mango and crab is delicious!

I thought it was kind of expensive, but it tasted so yummy! They do have rules that you cannot order more than 3 pieces at a time, and you will be charged if you leave more than 3 pieces since you cannot take out.

This was my fourth time here and ever time I go I enjoy myself. The host May is so joyful and nice. We love talking with her. That atmosphere is very calm and serene. This is in unlimited sushi place so come hungry. The sushi is so good for Ohio!

I went with a group of friends last Saturday around 1pm after hearing a raving review from a co-worker of mine who went with his wife. Being a huge fan of sushi, the option for $17 all-you-can-eat was a no brainer. I did have my worries in terms of quality and portion size, but these went out the door quickly once everything was said and done. The place was pretty much empty when we came in, and we were seated quickly. Our waiter was one of the nicest guys I have ever met, and made the dining an awesome experience. We were given little deep fried crisps with duck sauce, a small salad and soup to start. All three tasted great and were a nice addition to the meal. The sushi menu itself is impressive, and after going through 5 completely different rolls I can confidently say that whatever you get will taste good. The rule is that if 8 or more pieces are left on the plate, it will be a $1 per piece and you may take it home (to stop wasteful ordering). It's a pretty good idea, and definitely slowed down my dining experience so I could fully digest each roll and make sure the next would be something I wouldn't waste. Beyond that, service was prompt, and rolls came out in a timely fashion. The fish was fresh, the atmosphere was inviting, and they gave us a cool little dessert orange after. All in all, I will definitely be returning in the future, and they have secured a handful of repeat customers.

So good! Definitely a must try. I just moved here from another city where they had an all you can eat sushi and I missed it so much! So glad this place just opened! Although it's 25 min from where I live it's well worth the drive. We sat at the sushi bar and had the all you can eat sushi which is all made fresh as you order it. The wait staff was super nice they made sure we had refills and kept asking how everything was. I loved that the guys making the sushi were friendly as well. They talked to us while waiting on our food and made some jokes. The sushi was Great!! No complains there. Fish was fresh and the rolls didn't break apart like they have at other restaurants I've been to. Definitely give this place a try it's worth your money you get a lot of bang for your buck!

It's obviously not going to be the best sushi for all you can eat at $16.99 on weekdays (Mon-Thurs), but I expected chinese buffet quality sushi and was pleasantly surprised! They have special rolls on all you can eat as well as the traditional ones, and they are just as good as the ones at Saké (again, not the best, but pretty decent if you constantly crave sushi and are on a budget). I've been there twice, got seated immediately, and had friendly service from two different servers. The place was pretty quiet both times with only a couple other tables occupied, even on a friday. I just hope they can pull in enough business to stay open, because I will definitely make regular trips here!

The only suggestion I can make is to never go on a Friday night. I've had excellent service and experience every other night of the week, but Fridays are notoriously bad, with incorrect orders, long wait time, and lower quality presentations.

Delicious!!! We went on a Friday night, and had no wait at all, opting to sit at the sushi bar. We went with our servers recommendations for rolls to try, and they were all great. A very good value I feel for sushi - and the quality was top notch. We each got a beer since they were running a summer drink special, but the sushi all you can eat deal came with soup and salad appetizer as well as an orange for dessert. We will definitely be back! If you like sushi you should go. Loved the 007 and speedy roll - but they were all yummy!

I was so excited to find out that a sushi place was not only opening up just down the road from my house, but that it was also all you can eat! The sushi is incredible. There are tons of options, they bring you soup, salad, edamame, and crispy noodles before you order your sushi. Follow that up with some amazing rolls and appetizers while you wait for them. You get an incredible amount of food for the price and it's well worth it. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the Dayton area now. It gets my highest recommendation.

All you can eat sushi. Good price which includes soup, salad, crispy noodle chips, and edamame. Sushi is good and service is always good when we have gone and we visit a couple times each month. If you are looking for extravagant sushi this is probably not what you are looking for, however if you want to try lots of sushi this restaurant is a must. I encourage you to try the 007 roll it's very good!

Maybe I just came at a really bad night at a really bad time... but I would not recommend this place to any sushi-lovers. Let's start with the good though: -The concept: All-you-can-eat for $17 (a bit more on weekends) is enough to pull me in.That comes with appetizers (wonton strips, edamame, and soup and salad) which makes it an awesome deal. -The service: Everyone seemed really nice. My server was very attentive. The bad: Fish was not fresh. I ordered sashimi with my meal, and the yellowtail and white tuna tasted like cardboard. The seaweed was way too tough and chewy. After the first two bites, I decided I couldn't take it anymore and ate the rest of my meal while spitting out the seaweed with each piece... It's actually pretty humorous how trashy I felt. I also had the sweet potato roll, and the sweet potato pieces were really thin and dry, I could barely taste any sweet potato. The rice was also over-vinegared. Overall, this place has a lot to work on. I had 4 rolls, and my meal totaled to $21 before tip, so I wasn't too upset about it. Although I did have to force-feed myself towards the end, since they charge $1 a piece for any uneaten pieces if you leave at least 7. Like I said, it may have just been an off night for them, so I do suggest you give it a try at least once, just to judge for yourself.

We went on a Saturday night. We waited 30 minutes to be seated but no biggie it was a Saturday. Once we got seated we didn't get to put in a drink order for 10 minutes. At the 18 minute mark our waitress had to be led to us by the manager. By minute 25 we had empty cups, our menus, and no waitress. At the 30 minute we approached the manager to pay for our drinks and leave. We left without eating anything so I'd at least give a 2 star until I try the food.

Went there last night, the sushi was below average, nothing to write home about. Our waiter was good though the Service was slow. We ordered spring rolls as an appetizer and it took forever, we tried to cancel it but they said no. They have a really weird concept that they charge you $1 extra PER PIECE NOT ROLL, if you leave more than 7 pieces in your plate. So if you order a roll that you didn't like you have to eat it because they will be charging you money. It is pretty messed up concept. I felt I was penalized for not finishing my plate. It is just ridiculous to make us pay more for not finishing our plates. What the hec? Are we in a boarding school or what? The manager tried to explain it but that was totally worthless, they are just trying to make money off of us in a sneaky way, I Will not go back again. N.N

This place is horrible the server was nice but the food took forever and really for the same price you can just go somewhere else the food is not good. I would just go somewhere else. I also got very sick during the night so just watch out they say they make it fresh but they really don't
